Racine Yacht Club Racing Racing in RYC has a long tradition of quality, fun, fair racing. Along with the standard Wednesday Night and weekend racing, there are several special events during the year. The Hook Race is a great alternative to the Chicago to Mackinaw Race as it keeps you closer to shore and a great value. This is a great venue for those who want to get out and do a long distance sail without breaking the bank. Also, Racine Yacht Club is the home of the Al Henning Memorial Regatta (formerly the Racine Regatta). This is a two day regatta on the second weekend in August. If you want to have great competition and a great party, this is the place for you! RYC has also been host to many North American and National Events including the Nacra North Americans and Cat Fight, the S2 7.9 Class Championships and the Ultimate 20 North Americans. |
